Eden makes Salford bow in cup loss

Greg Eden made his debut for Salford at the weekend after joining on a month’s loan from Hull KR.

Eden, 23, started at full-back against Widnes in the Challenge Cup fifth round, but couldn’t stop the Red Devils from falling to a 30-20 defeat.

He joined Rovers at the start of the 2013 season, and has scored two tries in six Super League appearances this term.

The former Huddersfield full-back started his career at Castleford.
