Duo join Doncaster for 2020

Doncaster have announced the signings of Ben Howe and Alex Holdstock for the 2020 League 1 campaign.

The pair have impressed on trial at the club throughout pre-season, having both played against Sheffield Eagles and Wakefield Trinity reserves.

“Both players are young lads who have shown a lot of energy and enthusiasm leading into and during the pre-season games,” said head coach Richard Horne.

“They have plenty of areas to work on but both are very keen to work hard and take in what we are trying to teach them.

“It adds more depth to our squad which we know is going to be very important heading into the new campaign.”

Doncaster face Thornhill Trojans in the third round of the Coral Challenge Cup this weekend.
