Diskin out for the season

The Bulls have confirmed that they will be without hooker Matt Diskin for the rest of the season as he received news that he will need to undergo surgery on a long standing shoulder injury.

In a statement on the club website coach Mick Potter was full of praise for Diskin, “Matt’s been carrying the injury for the past ten weeks but it’s got to the stage now where the pain is becoming too much and an operation is the only course of action. I commend Matt’s bravery in wanting to play on as long as possible whilst in a lot of discomfort but that’s the measure of him as a man and a team mate.”
