Leeds winger David Fusitu’a limped off the field in the first half of their game at Hull KR with an injury to his left ankle.

The Tonga international went straight down the tunnel and was replaced by Wales international Luis Roberts in the 14th minute.

Fusitu’a didn’t return to the field, with his left leg being in a protective boot in the second half. Sky Sports reporter Jenna Brooks says Fusitu’a will go for scans later this week.

Speaking after their 20-12 defeat at Hull KR about Fusitu’a’s injury, Leeds coach Rohan Smith said: “Not too sure but he’s clearly in a fair amount of pain and needed to be helped from the field so that will be a medium term injury at least.”
