Croker out for Raiders

Canberra winger Jarrod Croker will miss Canberra’s elimination final at South Sydney next weekend with a facial injury.

Croker, who has played every game for the Raiders this season, suffered a fractured cheekbone in the preliminary victory over Cronulla on Sunday.

The 21-year-old requires surgery and will meet doctors tomorrow.

“It’s a huge blow for the team as Jarrod has been an integral part of our side this year,” Raiders coach David Furner said.

“Having said that, we have great depth in the club in our outside backs and have several possible replacements which we will decide on later in the week.”
