Chris Sandow says that he will return to Super League next year, but not with Warrington.

The 29-year-old spent nearly two seasons with Warrington Wolves in Super League between 2015 and 2016, scoring 12 tries in 31 games for the club.

But at the end of 2016, he failed to return to the UK for pre-season training and decided that he did not wish to return.

In 2017, Sandow joined Queensland Cup side Norths Devils on a one-year deal. He was stood down from his duties with the club though due to him missing a training session.

And he has most recently been plying his trade at Moranbah Miners, who play in the local Grade A Mackay competition.

But he has confirmed that he will return to Super League next season, but not with Warrington.

“With another step closer to a return to Super League, it modest definitely won’t be @warringtonwolves,” Sandow posted on instagram.

“I’m looking forward to @superleaguerl 2019. #returnofthemack”
