Championship play-offs schedule confirmed including televised fixture

Premier Sports will cover next Sunday’s Championship Elimination Play-Off between Halifax Panthers and York City Knights at The Shay.

The match will kick-off at 5:30pm.

Premier Sports were set to cover a game on the Monday night. However, it has been rescheduled to the Sunday following confirmation of the arrangements for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

In the other semi-final, Paul Crarey’s Barrow Raiders host Batley Bulldogs at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium with a 3pm kick-off.

The Raiders secured a home play-off tie following their 30-20 victory away at London Broncos. They overtook their play-off opposition Batley on the table, who fell to a 64-6 defeat to Leigh.

Both semi-finals will also be covered by Premier Sports on Sunday, September 25, with Leigh Centurions and Featherstone Rovers both playing at home.

Elimination Play-Offs – Sunday September 18

  • Barrow Raiders v Batley Bulldogs (3pm)
  • Halifax Panthers v York City Knights (5:30pm – live on Premier Sports)

Semi Finals – Sunday September 25

  • Leigh Centurions v lowest-ranked Play-Off winner (2pm)
  • Featherstone Rovers v higher-ranked Play-Off winner (4pm)

Final – Sunday October 2, 6pm
