Challenge Cup quarter-finals: Key dates, kick-off times & TV coverage

Here’s everything you need to know about the Challenge Cup quarter-finals, including dates, kick-off times and televised coverage.

There are just eight clubs who are just two games away from reaching the final at Wembley in August.

York are the only Championship club left in the competition. They will host Leigh at the LNER Community Stadium in the quarter-finals.

Hull FC will take on world champions St Helens at the MKM Stadium, whilst across the the city, Hull KR will host Salford at Craven Park.

The headline fixture comes at the DW Stadium, where Cup holders Wigan will go up against current Super League leaders Warrington.

Challenge Cup quarter-finals television coverage

All four quarter-finals will be shown live on television.

The BBC had the first two picks for the quarter-final ties, with Viaplay Sports getting the other two.

The first game of the last eight will be shown by Viaplay Sports on Saturday, June 17 (12pm), as Salford travel to Hull KR.

Hull FC’s clash with St Helens from the MKM Stadium will be shown on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with a 2:30pm kick-off on Saturday, June 17.

BBC’s second quarter-final tie will come on Sunday, June 18, when Wigan take on Warrington at the DW Stadium – again with a kick-off at 2:30pm.

And Viaplay Sports will round the weekend off on Sunday, June 18, when Leigh head to Championship club York, 5pm kick-off.

The semi-finals this year will be played as two separate events on the weekend of July 22-23. One will be on the Saturday and the other on Sunday at neutral venues.

There are plans for each to be a men’s and women’s double-header, with the Women’s Challenge Cup final also being held at Wembley later in August in a first-ever for the sport.
