Hull and York were the final two teams to reach the Challenge Cup quarter-finals after winning their respective matches on Sunday.

Hull and York will join Wigan, Warrington, Salford, Hull KR, St Helens and Leigh in the quarter-final draw.

Castleford Tigers 8-32 Hull FC

Hull booked their spot in the quarters with an impressive win over Castleford at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.

Hull were 22-0 up after half an hour thanks to tries from Josh Griffin, Adam Swift (2) and Jack Brown.

Mahe Fonua pulled one back for Castleford just before the break, but the Tigers were 22-4 down at half-time.

Hull were in good form in the second half, with Swift completing his hat-trick as well as Jordan Lane going over.

The Tigers scored a consolation in the 68th minute through Will Tate. Hull centre Josh Griffin was sin-binned five minutes from the end for dissent after his effort was ruled out by the referee.

It was Hull’s afternoon though as they finished 32-8 winners in West Yorkshire.
