Catalans Dragons confirm player departures

The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Champions have announced the players that will be leaving the club.

The Dragons have officially confirmed the players that will not don their jersey in 2019.

Some names have already been announced throughout the course of the year, but the list now officially reads:

Luke Walsh and Paul Aiton who were forced to retire through injury.

Fouad Yaha, who has joined Rugby Union club Agen.

Vincent Duport who will join Lezignan and Louis Anderson who has retired.

Ian Thornley and Josh Drinkwater will also both depart – their destinations yet to be confirmed.

Head coach Steve McNamara expressed his thanks and well wishes to his former players:

“We are very grateful for the contribution all of the players have made to the club and we wish them well in their future careers.”
