Struggling Catalan Dragons are without 12 players for their trip to St Helens on Friday.

Laurent Frayssinous’ men have lost all four of their Super League games so far this season, and a planned stay in the UK this week ahead of their Round 5 clash with table-topping Saints was cancelled following Sunday’s drubbing by Wakefield.

Prop Jamal Fakir and full-back Brent Webb have been dropped, joining suspended trio Louis Anderson, Olivier Elima and Julian Bousquet on the sidelines.

They join Vincent Duport, Daryl Millard, Scott Dureau, Ben Pomeroy, Damien Cardace, Antoni Maria and Ian Henderson, who are all out injured.

Young reserve team props Gadwin Springer and Maxime Scimone are called in to the 19-man squad, and could make their Super League debuts.

There are also returns for Thomas Bosc and Mickael Simon, after the pair recovered from injury.
