Halifax utility Callum Casey has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

Casey, 21, has made 20 appearances for Karl Harrison’s side this season and is the 12th player to commit himself for 2014 or beyond.

Harrison said: “Callum’s been great this year; for the coaches, he’s consistently in our thought process when we’re picking a side.

“There’s a lot more to come from Callum, I’m sure of that.”

Casey, a former Leeds academy player, is the son of former Great Britain prop Leo.
