Carney banned for two games

Salford winger Justin Carney has been suspended for two matches for contact with a match official.

Carney pleaded not guilty to Grade C contact with a Match Official in the 36th minute of the game against Huddersfield Giants on Thursday, February 16.

The independent tribunal found Carney guilty and he has received a two-match ban plus £300 fine.

Leeds forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan pleaded guilty to Grade A Dangerous Contact on Adam Higson in the 44th minute of the game against Leigh Centurions on Friday, February 17.

He has received a £300 fine.
