Captain Casty out of Catalans crunch

Catalans captain Remi Casty will sit out their crunch Qualifiers clash at Hull KR through injury.

Casty, 32, has been an ever present for the Dragons this season but will miss the trip to KCOM Craven Park where his side will be looking to win to put them in pole position for automatic safety.

The Dragons currently sit in 4th place, a Million Pound Game position, but host third place Widnes in the final round.

Their hopes have been boosted by a weakened Hull KR squad. Tim Sheens has left out 10 players that featured in their win over the Vikings last week, which sealed Hull KR’s immediate return to Super League.

Despite Casty’s absence, the Dragons are boosted by the return of hooker Paul Aiton and centre Iain Thornley.

Hull KR will be captained by Ben Cockayne in his final home game for the club before he joins York City Knights.

Hull KR 19-man squad: Cockayne, Salter, Shaw, Clarkson, Greenwood, Horne, Abdull, Clark, Dockar-Clay, Lawler, Marsh, Mulhern, Moran, Oakes, Cator, Moss, Kavanagh, Clavering, Atkin.

Catalans 19-man squad: Inu, Wiliame, Walsh, Myler, Moa, Aiton, Anderson, Horo, Bousquet, Garcia, Bosc, Baitieri, Duport, Thornley, Albert, Da Costa, Margalet, Navarrete, Tierney.
