Bradford Bulls have announced the capture of Penrith Panthers Centre/ Winger Adrian Purtell on a three year contract.

Purtell, who is 26 years old, is 6ft 4″ and weighs 99kg, started his career at Canberra Raiders scoring 30 tries in 64 appearances for the Green Machine.  He has made 44 appearances for Penrith, scoring 13 tries and was ever present last season whilst missing only four games this year.

Commenting on the decision to join the Bulls, Adrian Purtell said:
“I’m very happy with the decision I’ve made for the next three years. It’s good security for me because I will be 27 by the start of next season and entering the most important years of my career. I’m at a point now where I’m looking for a new challenge and a new experience and this is the biggest challenge I could’ve taken on.
Bradford have been very welcoming from the start and you always want to go to a club where you feel wanted.”
Mick Potter is delighted to have captured the player:

“Adrian has played virtually every game in first grade in the past two years, in every position from lock to the wing. He’s a big guy with speed and he’ll be an asset to our team next season. I’m pleased to get him signed up for a few years. He wanted the security and we needed longevity in our signings so it’s a good deal for both sides.”
