Leeds Rhinos winger Tom Briscoe is looking forward to facing hometown team Featherstone Rovers this weekend.

The Rhinos and Rovers launch their Qualifiers campaigns this weekend at the Big Fella’s Stadium on Saturday.

“As a professional, or in a competitive game, I’ve never played here,” he told Rhinos TV.

“I’m very excited, with it being my hometown club.

“I used to sit in the stand and watch the team play, so it’s something I’ve been looking forward to.”

The Leeds winger also looks set to play against his brother Luke, who is also a winger.

“We’ve never done it before, so I’m very excited for that,” he added.

“Not only to play on opposite teams, but, the way it’s been going, we’ll be on the same side of the field on the wing.

“So it’ll be a good battle and it’ll be good to see who comes out on top.”
