Swinton Lions have confirmed that Andy Bracek has signed permanently with the club following a successful loan period.

Bracek was released from Halifax RLFC earlier this week, and Swinton have confirmed that they have turned Bracek’s loan deal into a permanent deal.

Swinton Lions head coach John Duffy has expressed his happiness at signing Bracek on a permanent deal, and believes he will be a good signing for the club.

“Andy has done very well since joining us, but once he’s fully settled in and firing on all cylinders I’m convinced he can become an even more important addition to our forward strenght,” Duffy told the club’s official website.

“Most importantly Andy loves it at Swinton and was really keen to sign for us. A good attitude is half the battle and I’m sure Andy will do well for us.”

Bracek himself has spoke of his delight at securing his future and believes it is a club which matches his ambition.

“I’m really pleased to be moving over to Swinton,” he said.

“It’s a club with a great heritage, but also a club with plenty of ambition so it ticks all the boxes. There’s loads of potential here and I’m looking forward to have a big end to the season.”
