Warrington back rower Ben Currie has been banned for two games, the RFL have confirmed.
He submitted an Early Guilty Plea (EGP) to a Grade C charge of making deliberate contact with a match official.
During the game, Currie was seen to push referee Richard Silverwood in the back.
Warrington coach Tony Smith felt the ban was fair enough in the circumstances.
“It wasn’t defendable,” Smith said, according to the RFL website.
“There is no way in the world it was malicious but he did touch the ref and you can’t do that.
“I don’t think he even knew he had done it and he was shocked when he saw it afterwards.”
