Amor out for two months

Wakefield prop Kyle Amor has been ruled out for two months with a broken hand.

Amor, 24, picked up the injury in Friday’s opening Super League victory over Widnes, and had an operation on Tuesday.

Head Coach Richard Agar said: “Kyle has gone all right in our last couple of games. He gives us a bit of punch up front and was coming along really well.

“He is pretty down about it, but he will get it operated on and he’ll start his recovery from then. We will get him back as quick as we can.”

Cumbrian Amor is in his second season at Wakefield, having spent last year on loan at Belle Vue. However, he is subject of a unique deal with Leeds, who are able to re-sign him for next season if they give notice by July.
