Agar: Changes will be made

Wakefield head coach Richard Agar has vowed to change his squad around after another poor result saw the Wildcats play-off hopes fade even further.

Sunday’s defeat to Bradford came after two successive losses to Leeds, and Agar says he will be giving his younger players a chance to save the club’s season.

He said, “We’ve had some guys that have had opportunities and come up with consistent errors for a number of weeks now.

“But on the other hand Kyle Trout’s been going really well, Liam Kay’s been playing well at Doncaster and young Bobby Goulding deserves to be looked at.”

A visit to Warrington is up next for Wakefield, and Agar said:

“We’re in a position where we’ve not much to lose, so I think it will be a good time and opportunity to have a look at some of these young kids that have been knocking on the door.”
