St Helens have signed centre Jordan Turner from Hull for next season.

Turner, 23, has signed a two-year deal at Langtree Park, and previously played west of the Pennines for Salford, before moving to the KC Stadium in 2010.

Saints chairman Eamonn McManus said: “Jordan is one of the most exciting talents in the game at the moment and we are delighted to secure his services for the next two seasons.

“Not only does he possess good feet and a great turn of pace, but he’s matured into an excellent defender too.

“At 23 he is still developing and will no doubt do so further under the tutelage of Nathan Brown and his staff.”

Turner has scored 32 tries in 82 Super League appearances, and also represented England at Under 18s level earlier in his career.
