Worth still absent for Toulouse

Toulouse Olympique remain without long-term injury absentee Brendon Worth (achilles) as they search for victory over Leigh this evening.

Olympique are currently bottom of the Co-operative Championship, and coach Gilles Dumas will make further checks on Eric Anselme (ankle) and Sebastien Payan (shoulder) before finalising his squad to face Leigh Centurions.

Leigh hope to travel with dual-registered Tom Armstrong, while Robbie Hunter-Paul also has an outside chance of playing.

Assistant Leigh coach Paul Rowley said: “Robbie’s been working really hard, and he’s getting very close now.”

The Centurions travel from East Midlands airport on Friday in a bid to ensure their preparation is as professional as possible.

Rowley added: “They’ve lost a couple of players, but Rory Bromley is a dangerous full-back and they seem to be a flamboyant team.

“However, we’ll only be thinking about ourselves and making sure we reach the goals we set ourselves.

“Last week we were pretty good against Dewsbury, especially in the first half – but we’ve still got a lot better in us.

“We’re nowhere near peaking, and we want to improve week on week from here onwards.”
