South Wales Scorpions have convinced experienced winger Kevin James to cross-codes and sign until the end of the season.

James, 31, has quite a pedigree in rugby union having scored over 100 tries in the Welsh Premier Division.

He has also played for Newport Gwent Dragons in the Celtic League and Cornish Pirates in English rugby union.

“I’m really looking forward to giving league a go.” said James on the official club website. “I hope I can give a healthy contribution to South Wales Scorpions.”

James is the brother of Ospreys and Wales international prop Paul James.
