Williamson set for return

Harlequins forward Luke Williamson is set to return from a ligament injury for this weekend’s game against Catalans.

Boss Brian McDermott has named the Australian in his 19-man squad in place of Ben Jones-Bishop, who has been ruled out with a shoulder injury sustained during last week’s defeated at Crusaders.

Luke Dorn says the match against Catalans, who sit one place above Quins in the Super League table, is crucial.

“We don’t want to come last. If we get a victory on Saturday then we have every chance of lifting ourselves off the bottom of the table.”

Dorn added that whilst the annual trip to the south of France is great for fans, it will be business as usual for the team.

“It’s not glamourous; we’re out there to do a job. We’ll fly out the day before the game and train that evening, play the match on Saturday and fly back the day after.”
