London Skolars have made their first new signing for 2012, with David Williams moving across the capital from Quins RL.

The 6 foot 7 inch 28 year old prop has played 20 games for the Super League club since his debut in 2008. He’s also no stranger to Skolars, having played 15 games for the club whilst on loan.

Head Coach Joe Mbu is excited about the capture of Williams. “David has some great experience at the top level and I’m delighted that he is joining us. His signing is also a sign of the strength of the game in London. In the past, players leaving Quins chose to go north, now we can attract players to New River”.

Also re-signing this week is Oliver Bloom. The 25 year old forward has played 39 games for the club since signing from Gloucestershire Warriors in 2009.
