Huddersfield youngster Will Pryce will make his Super League debut against Catalans on Thursday night.

The Giants are without first-choice half-backs Aidan Sezer, Lee Gaskell and Jack Cogger for Thursday night’s clash against the Dragons.

And Huddersfield coach Ian Watson has confirmed that Pryce, the son of former Great Britain star Leon, will make his first team debut.

Watson said: “We’re doing it tough with injuries that are going to keep people out beyond eight weeks and some of them are season-ending, but we’re going to be able to give a debut to young Will Pryce tomorrow, so that’s exciting.

“He’s been training with us more or less all year and he’s maturing into a really good team player.

“There will probably be eyes on him because of his name and who his dad was but we just want him to be Will and play the game his own way.

“He’s got unbelievable ability and he’s a good kid. He played for the academy on Sunday but he’s ready. There is no point holding him back, it’s an opportunity for us to develop his career now.”
