Wilkin believes Saints squad needs more experience

St Helens veteran Jon Wilkin believes that his club’s squad will be better for having more experience in it.

He also hopes to be able to help develop that experience amongst the younger players at Saints.

“We strive for success here. Every year we want to win the Challenge Cup and the Grand Final,” he told Saints’ official website.

“I’m one of the leaders here and we need more leadership to help in the right situations like tonight.

“We need some more experience at the club and I’d like to see that from the younger guys as we continue on. My job here is to bring that out.”
