Toulouse outside back Gregory White knows that the serious business of the season is now beginning, as his club start the League 1 Super 8s and look to win promotion.

He is also pleased that Olympique’s good form during the regular season has seen them gain the advantage of four homes in the Super 8s.

“We worked hard during the first phase, which means we’re at home four times and we travel three times, and welcome our most serious rivals to Blagnac.

“And we succeeded in finishing first [in the table].

“Now we have to make it happen. The goal in this Super 8s is to win all our games in order to stay top of the table and play the final at home.

“We are determined to continue our momentum generated during the first half of the season.”

The Australian-born French international also expects some tough tests in the second phase of the season.

“It will be special to play Keighley or York at home, and travel to London or Hunslet,” he added.

“We beat them once on our ground, it will be a real challenge to do it again.

“It will take us to be at least as good as the first time [we played them] because they will be, for sure. Clearly, it’s us against ourselves, to see how far we can go.

“We have to keep the same mentality that we have from the beginning, that pushes us to go further. It is important that we not lose sight of our objectives while staying focused on each game.”
