West Wales land international forward

West Wales have signed international forward Chris Vitalini for the 2019 season.

The Wales international, who hails from Newport, has a wealth of experience in League 1. He has previously played for Gloucestershire All Golds, South Wales Scorpions and Coventry Bears.

Vitalini helped Wales qualify for the World Cup by playing in the European Championships last autumn.

On signing Vitalini, Raiders’ boss Kim Williams said: “I’m extremely happy to have Chris on board for season 2019.

“His vast experience at League 1 level will be a great asset to our squad and I am looking forward to seeing him develop his game as well as mentor the younger players around him.

“I expect him to be a key player for us as the year progresses.”

Vitalini also earned four caps for Italy between 2012 and 2014.
