Hull KR centre Kris Welham is set to make his return to action this weekend after six months out with a broken ankle.

Welham, 25, suffered the injury in the home defeat to Catalan in July, but is in Craig Sandercock’s squad for Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Wigan.

He is joined in the squad by Josh Hodgson, who returns from the foot injury which ruled him out of the England Knights games in the autumn.

New signings Greg Eden, Adam Walker, Cory Paterson and Evarn Tuimavave will all make their debuts in the red and white, whilst Omari Caro will make his second appearance for the club having played in the win at Gateshead.

Both Craig Hall and Sean Gleeson are missing as they continue to recover from ankle and back problems respectively.
