Watts sidelined with knee injury

Sydney recruit Anthony Watts will miss up to six months with a knee injury, the Roosters have revealed.

The 24 year-old hooker, who joined the Bondi club from North Queensland at the end of last season, tore his anterior cruciate ligament during a pre-season training drill.

It is hoped the Watts will undergo surgery during the week and will return to action midway through the 2011 season.
