Leeds centre Kallum Watkins is keen to win the Challenge Cup again at Wembley, after the Rhinos broke a 15-year drought in the competition last season.

Watkins and his team-mates travel to Warrington tonight, where they will face St Helens in the first Cup semi-final.

The England international has a deep respect for the competition, with the emotion associated with winning the Rhinos’ first Challenge Cup for 15 years leaving some lasting memories.

“It’s a fantastic competition to be part of and, after being in the final so many times, it was very emotional last year winning it at last,” he said.

“There is still a burning desire to get there again. You want to get there every year.

“We want to emulate the teams that have gone there and won many times in a row, Wigan and Saints especially and Warrington had their time a few years back.”
