Warrington Wolves have issued a series of banning orders following crowd trouble at the recent Widnes Vikings away fixture.

Several crowd incidents occurred at the Halton Stadium.

The Wolves have issued a statement on the matter, it read: “The club, and the sport of Rugby League, will not tolerate the behaviour displayed and will not allow a small minority to overshadow the fantastic true supporters at Warrington Wolves.

“The club has worked with Widnes to successfully identify the offenders. One male has received a life ban from all Warrington home and away fixtures following on from a previous offence in which a short-term ban was issued.

“A further three males have received two-year bans from The Halliwell Jones Stadium until 2020.

“The club would like to thank supporters for their co-operation in assisting with identifying these offenders and, for the continued support of the club and team.”
