Walshaw joins Rams on loan

Wakefield forward Lucas Walshaw has joined Championship side Dewsbury on an initial one month loan deal.

Walshaw, 21, featured in the Wildcats’ opening three Super League fixtures, although sat out the win over Catalan last weekend.

He spent time with the Rams last season, and has also been on dual-registration with Doncaster.

The second-rower has made 14 Super League appearances for Wakefield since making his debut against Leeds in 2011.
