Jack Walker returns to the Leeds squad for the Betfred Super League Super 8s clash with St Helens on Friday.

Leeds Rhinos have included young full back Jack Walker for what is sure to be an emotional night at Headingley against St Helens on Friday night, (Leeds 8/13, St Helens 11/8, draw 22/1 – Betfred Super League match betting).

The youngster, who has only recently put pen to paper on a new three year deal, has been playing for Adrian Morley’s Under 19 side in the last couple of weeks but has earned a recall to the side, he was man of the match in the Betfred Super League meeting between the two at Headingley back in June, with Ashton Golding missing out.

Friday sees the end of an era at Headingley as it is the last game in front of their iconic South Stand before the bulldozers move in.

The South Stand will be replaced by a new one and tickets are selling fast, with the stand itself sold out.

Back Liam Sutcliffe says the side will have to be on their toes against a St Helens team who are many people’s fancies for a Grand Final win (Castleford 6/5, Leeds 4/1, St Helens 6/1 – Super League Grand Final outright).

Sutcliffe knows it will not be easy against St Helens, he said: “Saints are flying high at the moment and with their new coach [Justin Holbrook] they have improved massively.

“They have got some great results under their belt.

“They are coming to Headingley and there’s no better place to turn a team over.

“We really want to put a performance in and get things right.”

Odds subject to change.
