London Skolars have signed Wales international Dalton Grant for the 2020 season.

The 29-year-old winger has earned eight caps for his country and played two games for Wales at the recent World Cup Nines tournament.

Grant will also work as a community coach for the Skolars throughout the 2020 campaign.

Skolars coach Jermaine Coleman said: “We are really excited to have Dalton on board.

“He has had some fantastic experiences at the teams he has played for and the competitions he has played in.

“He is going to bring a great deal to the team. I think our backline will be really dangerous this year.

“As long as we can play to our strengths, he is going to have a massive impact on what we do this year.”

Grant added: “Rugby has shaped my life and given me endless opportunities for the past 10 years.

“I am now ready for a new challenge where I can put my sports degree and rugby experience in to action by working with the club and local schools for the next 10 months.

“With this new challenge I can help younger sportsmen gain opportunities, help develop skills and give something back to the sport.

“From a playing perspective, I am looking forward to playing with experienced players and also up and coming talent that London Skolars have in the squad.”
