Tunningley joins Bulls as U19s coach

Castleford’s Head of Youth Development Richard Tunningley is leaving the club to become the Under 19s coach at Bradford.

Tunningley, 48, took up his role with the Tigers in May, having previously been Player Performance Manager.

He will link up with the Bulls from November 1.

Bulls Head of Youth Paul Medley said: “We advertised the post and were delighted with the quality of the applicants but we knew Richard was the right man for the job because of his experience in this area.

“He has previously worked in youth development at both Castleford and Wakefield Wildcats and had a spell at the RFL.

“He will bring with him a proven track record of bringing players through the system at clubs and he will be a massive asset to us going forward.”
