Replacing them were Guy Armitage, Latrell Schaumkel, Romain Navarrete, Joe Bretherton, Joseph Paulo, Lucas Albert and Justin Sangare.

Match Report

It was Toulouse who drew first blood after 15 minutes. Tony Gigot put a kick into the corner, and Latrell Schaumkel managed to collect it and score. Chris Hankinson added the conversion to make it a six-point lead.

That became an eight-point lead just under 10 minutes later. Hankinson added a penalty after Hull KR were punished for hands in the ruck.

The first try of the second half felt crucial, and it was the hosts who scored it. They got the ball over to the right-hand side, and Guy Armitage was able to send Paul Marcon over for the try. Hankinson scored the conversion to extend Toulouse’s lead.

With 50 minutes on the clock, Toulouse extended their lead to 16 points. Hankinson slotted over another penalty after Hull KR were caught offside.

The hosts made absolutely sure of the result on the hour mark. Joe Bretherton managed to break clear of the Robins’ defence, before getting the pass over to  Hankinson, who got a try to add to his collection of points.

However, Hull KR then gave themselves some hope six minutes later. Albert Vete was able to crash over by the posts and get the Robins on the board. Will Dagger added the conversion.

But any hope was soon extinguished. With nine minutes left on the clock, Olly Ashall-Bott found a gap, and went through it to score for Toulouse. Hankinson maintained his perfect record with the boot.
