The RFL have confirmed that the 2015 Super League Grand Final has sold out, with a crowd of 73,000 set to watch the game between Leeds and Wigan at Old Trafford.

The pre-game entertainment this year features DJ Spoony and The Charlatans, with another passionate atmosphere looking likely.

“The last few weeks have been a brilliant time for rugby league in this country,” said Super League general manager Blake Solly.

“We have seen the League Leaders’ Shield won with the last play of the season, one of the greatest ever semi-final encounters and as a result, a huge surge in demand for tickets.

“I am delighted that there will be a full house to watch the game on Saturday between the two top teams in the Super League this year and I can’t wait to watch what promises to be a great event!”
