SL Preview: Hull FC v Huddersfield (Sun)

test

Both respective coaches have named their squads for the Yorkshire derby between Hull FC and Huddersfield at the KC Stadium on Sunday.

There is no Ben Crooks for the Airlie Birds after he rolled his ankle in Monday’s match with Wakefield. Playmaker Daniel Holdsworth also misses out for the Black and Whites as they look to halt a losing streak that currently stands at three games.

Huddersfield will be looking to continue the superb vein of form they have found themselves in. The Giants have named new signing Kyle Wood in the 19 along with Josh Johnson. Wood and Johnson replace Craig Kopczak and Anthony Mullally.

Hull FC 19-man squad: Arundel, Briscoe, Ellis, Galea, Green, Heremaia, Houghton, Johnson, Lineham, Lynch, Miller, McDonnell, O’Meley, Pitts, Tickle, Watts, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman.

Huddersfield 19-man squad: Grix, George, Cudjoe, Wardle, McGillvary, Brough, Robinson, Crabtree, Lunt, Ferres, Faiumu, Lawrence, Patrick, Ta’ai, Murphy, Cording, Ferguson, Johnson, Wood.

Prediction: Huddersfield are in great attacking form and they should out-score Hull FC.
