Brad Singleton will start at loose forward for Ireland

Leeds’ forward Brad Singleton says Barrow will treat Sunday’s Challenge Cup tie between the two sides as their Grand Final.

Barrow-born Singleton admits he’s looking forward to facing his hometown club, but insists Leeds will not underestimate their League 1 opponents.

“I think it will be a big day out, Headingley will impress the Barrow lot – some of them might not play here again, so I think this will be like their Grand Final, and we just really need to match that,” he told the club’s official website.

“From what I hear they’re bringing half the town with them. I think they’ll come in strong and just like when they get a big draw in the FA Cup they’ll be here in a force.

“I wouldn’t underestimate them at all. They’re in good form, they’re unbeaten and they’ve got a strong pack. I went and watched them early on in the year and they’re just chewing sides up.

“If they get a good win against Keighley (on Wednesday) I think they’ll come into Headingley bouncing, so we’ve got to weather that and hopefully come out on top.”
