Shenton hopeful about shoulder injury

Castleford centre Michael Shenton believes that his shoulder injury should not keep him out of action for too long.

The 28-year-old England international is likely to miss Thurday’s game against the Huddersfield Giants, but is set to see a specialist this week.

He is confident that he will be back in action quite soon.

“It does feel okay and I don’t think it’s going to be a bad one,” he told the Yorkshire Post.

“Apparently, if there’s a good way of dislocating your shoulder, then that’s how I’ve done it.

“We’ll wait to see the scans but hopefully it won’t be too severe.”
