Shaw to miss rest of the season through injury

Hull KR‘s Ryan Shaw has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2016 season after suffering an ACL injury against Wigan Warriors last weekend.

The winger is a new signing at the KC Lightstream Stadium having signed from the Bradford Bulls in the off-season, scoring four tries in six appearances for the Robins.

Shaw was carried from the field in the opening stages of the game against Wigan Warriors on Easter Monday, and it has been revealed that it is a season-ending injury similar to the one suffered by halfback Terry Campese.

Rovers and James Webster could look to youngster Joe Wardill to replace Shaw in the side, who filled in for the winger when he was taken off at Wigan on Monday.
