Shaw commits to Hull KR

Hull KR winger Ryan Shaw has signed a new two-year contract extension at Craven Park.

Shaw, 24, has scored 20 tries in 25 appearances this season and has missed just one match under Tim Sheens.

He told the club’s official website: “I’m enjoying my time here and I’m really pleased to pen another deal for the next two years. At the start of the season, my goal was just to get into the team and from there I’ve ended up playing almost every week.

“That’s probably what’s earned me a new contract, playing week to week, and hopefully I can do that consistently for the next two years.

“I’ve struck up a good partnership with Heff as well down our side and he’s here for another two years as well, so it looks like I’m stuck with him! Hopefully he’ll be back in the team soon and that will be good for us to have him back.”

Shaw, a former England Academy international, has previously played for Bradford, Warrington and Barrow.
