Sharp gets six game ban

Halifax’s Will Sharp has been suspended for six weeks for dangerous use of the elbow.

Sharp pleaded not guilty to Grade E dangerous use of the elbow in the 29th minute against Sheffield Eagles on Sunday, September 25.

He was found guilty and received a six-match ban plus a £100 fine.

Wakefield’s David Fifita pleaded not guilty to Grade B dangerous contact on Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook in the 8th minute against St Helens on Friday, September 23.

He was found guilty and received a two-match ban plus a £300 fine.

Fifita tweeted this after learning of his punishment.
