Salford centre Junior Sa’u and Wakefield forward Pauli Pauli have returned to their parent clubs after a month on loan.

The pair will go straight into contention to face each other when the two sides meet on Sunday at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Red Devils director of rugby Ian Blease said: “We’re pleased to have Junior back with us after gaining some match fitness during his time at Wakefield.

“He has been important to the team during his time at the club and I’m sure the Salford fans will be eager to welcome him back to the AJ Bell.

“We’d also like to thank Pauli Pauli for his contribution while on loan with us. He was a credit to Wakefield during his time here and a privilege to have at the club.”

Sa’u played three times for Wakefield, finishing on the losing side on each occasion.

Pauli also played three times, also losing on each occasion, but did manage to score three tries for Salford.
