Saints bounce back in France

St Helens ended their three-game losing run with a hard-fought 28-24 win over Catalan Dragons in Perpignan on Saturday.

Tries from Adam Swift, Mark Percival, Ryan Morgan and Adam Walker put Saints 22-18 ahead at the break, with Thomas Bosc, Julian Bousquet and Iain Thornley replying for the hosts.

Luke Walsh converted Paul Aiton’s try to edge Dragons in front in the second half, but Jack Owens went over in the corner in the final 10 minutes to seal the points for Keiron Cunningham’s team.
