Widnes Vikings centre Charly Runicman has signed a two-year contract extension to stay with the Super League club.

Widnes has retained the Australian outside back after he attracted offers from the NRL and rival Super League sides.

Runciman joined the Vikings late last year from St George Illawarra. He has scored 10 tries in 14 appearances.

The 22-year old has crossed for three tries, set up three, made 12 offloads and nine tackle busts in 2016.
