Rugby league agent Craig Harrison has teased two new signings for Huddersfield Giants for the 2023 season.

Harrison runs the sports agency Show Me The Money, which was founded in 2009. The agent deals with some of the sport’s biggest names in the Super League competition, including former star Danny McGuire. Current players on the agency’s list include Mikey Lewis, Ryan Hampshire and Luke Gale.

Speaking on the latest episode of the Full 80 Minutes, a podcast hosted by Show Me The Money Rugby League TV, Harrison teased two upcoming signings for Huddersfield.

During the podcast, the panel discuss Huddersfield’s current squad and the talent within. The four delve into the club’s right side, where Harrison teased a few ‘X-factor’ signings.

“Jermaine McGillvary and Leroy Cudjoe have done brilliant,” Harrison said. “But you’re probably looking at a right edge centre if you brought an X-factor player in. Their recruiting is good

“I know at least two players that they’ve signed for next year. I don’t want to break it, but one of them is a cracking signing.

“One of them is from a top three club. They’re already making their moves for next year.”

Contract situation at Giants

Several key stars out without a contract for the 2023 season at the John Smith’s Stadium. Joint-leading scoring forward Chris McQueen is yet to make a decision on his future beyond 2022. He has scored seven tries in Super League so far this season.

Centre Ricky Leutele is another name on the list, alongside Leroy Cudjoe, who previously stated that he had no plans to retire at the end of the current campaign

Ashton Golding is in the last year of his original three-year contract. Forward Joe Greenwood is another on the list.

Head coach Ian Watson will have some decisions to make in the next few weeks about his squad retention for 2023 and beyond.
