Featherstone Rovers are favourites to retain their Championship title according to Apollo Bet.

Rovers defeated Sheffield 40-4 in last season’s Grand Final to win the Championship, 12 months after they were denied by Halifax who won the 2010 final in extra time.

Daryl Powell’s men are strong 5/6 favourites to win the Championship Grand Final, while Yorkshire rivals Halifax are 5/2.

Last season’s finalists Sheffield Eagles are 16/1 to go one step further, but Batley who are under the leadership of John Kear, are 7/1 to win the Championship as their second major piece of silver wear in the summer era.

Leigh Centurions are 10/1 to win the league after nearly falling into liquidation during the off season.

Current Championship 1 title holders Swinton are 20/1 to win back to back league titles, the same price as Dewsbury.

Hunslet and York are outside chances at 50/1 to win the Grand Final, as Jason Demetriou‘s Keighley side are 66/1 to win outright.

With no relegation in the Championship this year due to the league revamp in 2013, all 11 teams have noting to lose in what is anticipated to be a competitive season.
